This research study explores the impact of veterans volunteering. The study investigates the notion that returning veterans lack sufficient connections to communities but are enthusiastic to serve again. The study’s findings show that veterans are under-utilised assets within communities. Furthermore, in terms of volunteering as beneficial to the veterans themselves, the study asserts that voluntary service can be a key aspect that improves a veteran’s transition.
