This study offers a detailed understanding of the process and deployment of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) delivered by state, registered and non-registered charity organisations to ex-service personnel and their families; the understanding of services available (MoD and external provision) and the process for delivery of IAG from the perspective of ex-personnel and their families; the problems and barriers with regards to current provision and any impact that this might have on successful transition; the provision of insights into what might constitute an ideal state of delivery for IAG (an integrated support network) from the perspective of both users and providers.
