Forces in Mind Trust Research Centre Conference 2018: Evidence and Policy for Veterans and their Families

11th October 2018, London venue

If you are attending the conference, there is a forum group you can visit to network with other attendees and introduce yourself/your research.

The inaugural Forces in Mind Trust Research Centre (FiMT RC) Conference, sponsored by Lord Ashcroft, will focus on research into veterans and their families from the perspectives of academics, policy makers and service providers.

The conference will cover the processes, challenges, benefits and impact of research and will highlight opportunities for research funding and collaboration during four concise sessions. There will be plenty of scope for networking, questions and discussion. Speakers include Lord Ashcroft KCMG PC, Tobias Ellwood (Minister for Defence  Personnel and Veterans), Hans Pung (Chair, RAND Europe), Professor Mike Thomas (Vice Chancellor, UCLAN) and Air Vice-Marshal Ray Lock CBE (Chief Executive, Forces in Mind Trust).

This conference provides an excellent opportunity to hear from and network with those working to support veterans and their families.

Information about the conference can be found on the event page, with further information to follow.
