Dr Lee Yarwood-Ross

About the Person:

Greetings, My name is Dr Lee Yarwood-Ross and I am a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at University of Wolverhampton. My father was a soldier in the Royal Green Jackets and I spent some of my youth in Gibraltar before moving back to the UK and living in Dover. As a Registered Nurse I worked in cardiology before moving into the district nursing service with a special interest in loss and wound care. I resided in Essex for most of my clinical career, but relocated to the West Midlands where I studied for a degree in professional practice and the management of long term conditions at Coventry University. I was fortunate to receive a PhD scholarship at Manchester Metropolitan University where I explored the impact of combat-related Limb-Loss on veterans from the Iraq Afghanistan conflicts, which I completed in 2019.
