I’m Lisa Campbell, a doctorate student at Glasgow Caledonian University on the DPsych Counselling Psychology programme. I’m working on the first stages of my research dissertation and looking to build from previous research I’ve carried out in a previous qualification.

I’m interested in the current mental health and coping strategies of UK Armed Forces veterans who have experienced traumatic events. These traumatic events do not need to have occurred during service in the Armed Forces. I have created a survey which asks questions about current experiences or symptoms, and the ways of coping with these. You will not be asked to describe any traumatic events.

Participants must be aged 18 or over, resident in the UK, former personnel of the UK Armed Forces, and experienced at least one traumatic event.

You will remain anonymous unless you contact me to removing your responses within the timeframe. The survey takes around 15min to complete and is open until Sunday 29th May https://forms.office.com/r/8jzDVJ1eBT

The study has been approved from the university’s School of Health and Life Sciences psychology department, reference code: HLS/PSWAHS/21/199
